Located in the city of Toledo in Lucas County on Clover Lane near Flowers Road, at the Ohio-Michigan state line. Post is light gray granite 69 inches long 12 inches square with the top 18 inches dressed to 8 by 10 inches. Lettered on north side "MICHIGAN", on south side "OHIO", on east side "STATE LINE", and on west side "POST 59". Base of post embedded in concrete, top originally projected 18 inches above ground, and currently projects 26 inches. It is on the west side of the road, next to an east-west metal fence. To Post 60, true bearing is N 87 23'00" E, at a distance of 4277.7 feet.

The nearest community is Toledo. To reach from the intersection of State Route 184 (Alexis Road) and Secor Road, proceed west on Alexis Road approximately 4200 feet to Clover Lane. Turn north on Clover and proceed 2600 feet to the state line and the mark on the left just after Flowers Road.
