Northern Pacific 1264 is a wooden caboose on display outdoors at the
Jackson Street Roundhouse in St. Paul, Minnesota.
For years this caboose was thought to be Northern Pacific 1294. When it was restored and placed on display in 2000, historians discovered it was the 1264.
This caboose was built in 1901 at the South Baltimore Car Works in Baltimore, Maryland. When this caboose was retired in 1969, it was the oldest caboose still in service on the railroad.
