Dunn's Park - Carney's Point, NJ - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

This is a pretty, modest park in the center of Carney's Point, NJ. The town uses this park often for events, such as their fall festivals, Christmas programs, and in the summer, old fashioned ice-cream socials with turn of the century costumed interpreters walking visitors through the experience.

The park itself is set up for walking, jogging, or biking. There are large barbeque pits available with picnic tables. A large gazebo is available for gatherings and often for wedding photos. The fountain at the center was non-operational the day I visited, but is clearly the centerpiece of the park, as it also appears on all the streetlamp banners in Carney's Point. More recently, the park has expanded by adding two baseball fields and a small children's playground.
