The old church of St Mary, is long derelict and stories of Satanist worship at the site abound. What is for sure, is that the site is littered and the walls covered with spray paint.
The cut mark is on the east side of the church but not so easy to spot. The church is covered with carved graffiti. Being cut into sandstone, it is in poor condition.
