This home was built in 1770 and was once most likely a beautiful stately home.
Unfortunately time has NOT treated this home well. As evidenced in the
photographs, needing a little TLC might be an understatement. A later
addition, on the right, was once part of the home, and in the early 20th century
became a small general store, and later a gas station, servicing Shiloh and
Roadstown, but has since been abandoned. The residence is still in use as
a private dwelling, however.
