The OS last verified this 1GL mark in 1955. The OS database shows this mark to be at a height of 6.0411m above the Newlyn datum and 0.7m above the ground.

The mark is also described in the 1GL abstract for the Warrington to Pembroke Docks levelling line as 'Maentwrog Church. Bolt in East end ; 3.02ft. above surface' [Branch Levelling from Mark No. 417]. It is shown to be 19.874ft above the Liverpool datum.
