Buriram is a pleasant town, ~400kms east from Bangkok. As one of its many services, it contains a number of gold shops (as there are in every Thai city, town and hamlet) ready to sell you (or at least your Thai girlfriend) gold jewellery. Some of these gold shops gleam with a neon sign, advertising there products to passerbys.
This particular gold shop has a neon inside, which in Thai says: "hung town plet ploy", and translates as: gold and diamond and jewellery. You will find this shop at a major intersection, near the centre of the town.
