CORONER'S COURT

Architect: Arthur J. Bird

The attractive brick building was designed by the City Architect, and built in 1932 for the investigation of unusual deaths. Designed in the Georgian Revival Style, the building features decorative stone trim, which contrasts with the brick facing, prominent doorway, and multi-paned windows. Today the former Coroner's courtroom and morgue have been incorporated into the Vancouver Police Centennial Museum.
