The original Weymouth Hall was destroyed by fire on 6/6/1982. The new hall officially opened on 2 October 1983 by the mayor of Manukau City, Sir Lloyd Elsmore.
On the outside wall is a plaque dedicated to those who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars.
