This small wayside park along Highway 99 - The Sea to Sky Highway - has about ten rock faces that a popular rock climbing destinations. For those who do not clambering there are plenty of picnic tables along the shore of Browning Lake.

When Murrin Provincial Park was established in 1962 it was a scenic and rather quiet wayside park popular with people from Vancouver as a picnic destination.
Over the years since then the Sea to Sky Highway has been widened and traffic volumes have increased providing a lot of highway sounds. Nevertheless the park has become popular with rock climbers. As the provincial parks website states: "this park has various climbing walls named the Shaman, Sugarloaf, Bog Wall, Leviticus, Petrifying Wall and The Brunser that provide for excellent climbing opportunities".
