Artist Erick Villanueva was commissioned to carve the ceremonial wooden doors that depict themes from the Mission for a grand entrance to the Visitors Center. In addition to serving as the entrance point for visitors to the old mission site, the Visitors Center has various rooms available for rent for special events, including a banquet hall, a theatre, classrooms, and a conference room.
