The Greatest Generation is the newest sculpture at the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden in Weed, California created by Dennis Smith. It is the artist's tribute to veterans of World War II and is based on photographer Joe Rosenthal’s famous photo. Dennis Smith has said that he made this sculpture for his Dad.
