In Natick, near the village of Cochituate in Wayland, is a Dairy Queen restaurant. This restaurant is located at the corner of North Main Street (Mass. Route 27) and Stratford Road.
This one is a mostly outdoor facility with picnic tables located along the parking lot. Several are located under a tent to the side. The order window is located at the front, which has the usual selections for ice cream, including blizzards, soft-serve, and frozen ice drinks. There are take home items that include frozen cakes. As far as meal items, however, this location only offers hot dogs.
The restaurant has a familiar red barn-roof. On the left side, there is an empty area that used to have a florist shop. It now has a drive-thru window.
In the summer, this place is a popular stop, so the lines can be pretty long, especially in the evening.
But, I would suggest enjoying your ice cream at 0 mph!
