The church started as congregational meetings in homes in 1873. The first sanctuary was built in 1879 followed by a public school, a parsonage, and then the current sanctuary with its bell tower in 1901-02. A new addition was built in 1967.
The tower, as far as could be told, houses 1 large bell.
