DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1983 (CLN) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 5.25 KM (3.25 MI) SOUTHWEST FROM BARBERTON, 3.5 KM (2.25 MI) NORTHEAST FROM DOYLESTOWN AND IN THE SOUTHEAST EDGE OF THE SMALL VILLAGE OF HAMETOWN. IT IS IN THE SOUTHEAST ANGLE OF THE INTERSECTION OF STATE HIGHWAYS 21 AND 585 AND WOOSTER AVENUE. IT IS INSIDE OF THE LOOP FORMED BY THE SOUTH BOUND LANE OF STATE HIGHWAY 21 WHERE IT EXITS ONTO EAST BOUND STATE HIGHWAY 21 (WOOSTER AVENUE). OWNERSHIP--ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY. THE LOCATION OF THIS STATION ELIMINATES THE NEED OF A TO REACH. THE STATION MARK IS A STANDARD NGS STATION MARK DISK STAMPED---RICK 1983---SET IN THE TOP OF A 30 CM (12 INCH) ROUND CONCRETE POST WHICH PROJECTS 3 CM (1-INCH) ABOVE THE SURFACE. IT IS 151.5 METERS (497 FEET) SOUTHWEST FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE BRIDGE FOR SOUTH BOUND LANE OF STATE HIGHWAY 21, 79.2 METERS (260 FEET) WEST FROM THE CENTER OF THE SOUTH BOUND LANE OF STATE HIGHWAY 21 AND 1.3 METERS (4.3 FEET) SOUTH FROM A CARSONITE WITNESS POST. THERE ARE NO OTHER MARKS AT THIS STATION.
