Start at Jamshidiyeh park at N 35.824665° E 51.465904°
A 3 hr. walk up to the shelter. About 2 hrs back down.
Thursdays and Fridays you'll see a lot of locals out on this trail.
Walk up through the west edge of the park until you reach the trail leading up the valley next to creek. You'll soon cross the creek and start going up the side of the valley. You'll eventually reach a road-accessible area with a parking lot. From there, you continue up the trail to Kolakchal shelter. Wonderful views of Tehran all along the way.
