Brandy's has many awards lining the walls including 12 time "Best of Flagstaff" award winner, and Best Breakfast & Lunch 2008 by the readers of the Arizona Daily Sun.
From their website:
"Way back in 1976, Ed Wojciak wandered west from New Jersey. Upon meeting his future wife Brandy, the two teamed up to open a small cafe on the south side of Flagstaff. Years went by and Brandy expanded the business to include catering. Her wedding cakes were incredible and they still get calls requesting them to this day!
In 1993, an opportunity arose to open a second restaurant. Ed and Brandy decided to forgo the catering aspect of their business and devote their efforts into a new venture, Brandy's Restaurant and Bakery. The new restaurant would feature an expanded breakfast and lunch menus and a full - from scratch - bakery and espresso bar. Ed and Brandy eventually sold the south side cafe in 2005 to allow Brandy's to become the focus of all their energy.
In 2003, an old friend returned to Flagstaff. Sherman Johnson had been traveling the globe perfecting his gourmet cooking skills when Ed and Brandy asked him to join the Brandy's staff as they expanded the menu to include dinner. In 2009, their collaboration with Chef Sherman secured them a spot on The Food Nework's "Diners Drive-ins and Dives" with Guy Fieri!
As they strive to make Brandy's Restaurant the best it can be they know it would be nothing without their loyal customers.
At Brandy's we pride ourselves on the fact that we use the freshest ingredients available. All of our soups, dressing, pancakes, quiche and breads are made from scratch. Our bagels are the only hand-formed, boiled and baked bagels in town. All of our danish, cookies, scones, bread puddings, brownies, muffins, etc. are hand-crafted daily. We use natural ingredients you can pronounce, not chemical substitutes for the real things. One taste and you will appreciate the difference."
