"Time capsule buried here containing memorabilia from the Marin County Courthouse Cornerstone of 1872 and mementos of the year 1972. Placed here at the direction of the Marin County Board of Supervisors with the assistance of the Marin Lodge No 191, F & A.M. of San Rafael. October 30, 19723."
