Major Mitchell named Mura Mura, Mount Zero when he was the first European to climb it on 20th July, 1836 in order to accuretly survey the route of his 'Australia Felix' exploration.
The track to the summit is ever changing, challenging but not difficult, the views from the summit of the Grampian Ranges and Wimmera Plains are awe inspiring.
This is one of, if not the, most enjoyable of the 50 or so trig points I've visited.
This one is definetly worth the visit.
The walking track is marked with yellow arrows painted on the rock surface to guide you when the track is not visible.
