Starting life as a steam-driven flour mill with only three stories in 1867, the Crown Roller Mills continued expanding floors until 1890 it achieved five stories. A flour mill until 1997 it has been since converted in apartments and a restaurant.

The date on this building refers to when the last floor was added in 1890, however the building started life in 1867 as a three storey structure. Since 1997 it has been converted into a luxury apartments and a restaurant.
