This marker is located on McDonald Road out from Hoffamn, NC east of the entrance sign/road to McKinney Lake National Fish Hatchery. Approaching the entrance to the fish hatchery from Hoffman, pass NC DOC - Cameron Morrison Correctional Facility on your left, entrance to fish hatchery approx 1 mile west from NC DOC facility; Distances at site to assist w/ locating: 1 foot North of witness post, 2 feet south of fire hydrant, 8 feet east of east most side of entrance sign. Date stamped in marker is 1994 as placement date. An odd thing I noticed about this marker is that it is plastic!!
