In Cambridge, within the campus of Harvard University, is a yellow sticker attached to a pole at the corner of Oxford and Kirkland Streets. The sticker is about 7 feet in the air on the southwest side of the pole. The sticker is pointing upward and down the street.
The web site (now on flicker) has the following text:
"Chance is immaculate. go to 26 oxford st, 3rd flr flower rm, indo-asian rm, case a4, b2 wish on blue bird, look down out of window "
The creator is sixten.
26 Oxford Street is the address for the Harvard Natural History Museum. The text indicates that you must enter the museum to view something. As I was at lunch and did not have time to go through the museum, I did not try to find out what the text is trying to guide me to. Some other time! If it is within the museum, there is an admission fee.
The sticker is in fair shape. It has now faded to white and the surface has a glazed cracking appearance. The top corner of the arrow has lifted off the surface and the tip has been ripped off. The top corner of the base of the arrow is starting to lift off the pole, as well as some edges. However, the lines are easily visible and the serial number for the arrow is clearly readable.
The location is near Memorial Hall and the Science Center. Parking is possible, nearby, but likely not for long. The Harvard Red Line Station is about .2 of a mile away to the south through Harvard Yard.
