Otorohanga is the "Kiwiana Capital" of New Zealand. The town features all our favourite Kiwi icons from Buzzy Bee toys, Pavlova, Paua shell, Jandals to our Maori Haka and our famous Hokey Pokey Icecream.

As you drive through this main highway town you will spot many of our favourite kiwi icons displayed throughout the streets. The Ed Hilary Walkway is a wonderful display of Kiwiana and history - photos, story boards and nostaglic sounds. Take a wander and enjoy!
