The water tower is an interesting technical monument and dominant of the town Karviná, tower was probably built in 1928. It is a constructivist circular building with six floors, it´s height is 129 feet and diameter 37,4 feet.
Over the last floor is located a reservoir, which no longer works. Inside the tower is preserved part of the original technical equipment.

Zajímavou technickou památkou a výraznou dominantou mesta Karviná je vodárenská vež, která byla postavena pravdepodobne roku 1928. Je to konstruktivistická kruhová stavba se šesti podlažími o výšce 39,4 m a prumeru 11,4 m.
Nad posledním podlažím je umísten vodojem, který již neslouží svému úcelu. Uvnitr veže je dochována cást puvodního technického zarízení.
