This large mural shows many aspects of life on the BC Coast. The white flowers are a Dogwood tree - the provincial flower. There are a number of boats, including a First Nations canoe, an early sailing ship, and the ferry which runs between Campbell River and Quadra Island. Local birds include bald eagle, seagull, and great blue heron, and there are a deer and wolf on the shore. The Cape Mudge lighthouse can be seen through the trees at the extreme left, and there are some commercial fish boats tied up at the dock. This mural is a good representation of west coast life, in particular life on Quadra Island, BC.
