DESCRIBED BY MISSISSIPPI STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT 1966 IN OKOLONA. TO REACH FROM THE U.S. POST OFFICE IN OKOLONA GO WEST ON MAIN STREET FOR 0.25 MILE TO THE INTERSECTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 45 WEST, TURN RIGHT (NORTH) AND CONTINUE ON HIGHWAY 45 WEST FOR 0.15 MILE TO JEFFERSON AVENUE AND THE MARK ON THE RIGHT AS DESCRIBED. THE MARK IS A DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A 12 INCH ROUND CONCRETE POST, 47.5 FEET EAST OF POLE NO. C 35, 38 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF JEFFERSON AVENUE, 24 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF HIGHWAY 45 WEST, 8.5 FEET SOUTH OF AN 18 INCH OAK, 8 FEET NORTHWEST OF A STOP SIGN, 6 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER OF A SIDEWALK, 5 FEET NORTHEAST OF A STREET NAME POST, 2 FEET NORTH OF A METAL WITNESS POST, 1 FOOT ABOVE THE LEVEL OF HIGHWAY 45 WEST, AND PROJECTS 4 INCHES.
