The water tank for the community of Kittitas is located near the NE corner of the community near the intersection of Patrick Ave., Clerf Rd, and the 81 Rd.
The community of Kittitas originated as part of the westward expansion of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific Railroad in 1909 but wasn’t incorporated until 1931. In 1980 the last train passed over the line and the rails were removed.
