A simple stone memorial placed on the wall of the north aisle of the nave of the Cathedral is placed in honour of the Scholars of King Edward VI School, Bury St.Edmunds who fell in the Great War, 1914-1918. It consists of two panels and a central dedication panel with King Edward's Coat-of Arms above in a fourth semi-circular panel.
Thirty-two names are recorded, sixteen in each panel, arranged eight either side of the school coat-of-arms, A 'King Edward's Crown' above a 'Red Rose over crossed arrows' above 'SCHOLA BURIENSIS'.
