This little park has a granite rock deposited in the the Maryhill area during the great Missoula (Spokane) Ice Age Flood. Rocks of this type are found in Montana and Canada. It was carried here on an iceberg during an Ice Age Flood some 15,000 years ago. The erratic was deposited when the ice melted.
