We were at eating at the Rush Cafe in Rush, but we got hungry early and stopped here. The food is great traditional American. There is plenty of seating in a traditional small town atmosphere.

Usually in a place like this, I opt for the chicken fried steak, but the fried chicken buffet looked great with a nice salad bar, chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and pumpkin pie. All for 7.95.

We came in just before the church crowd. This is one of those places that just feels good. There seemed to be 3 generations at most of the tables.

I'll go back for sure. To Kit Carson and to the restaurant.
