Located in the courtyard of the Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior at 555 South La Canada, Green Valley, Arizona, this fountain was created as a memorial to Byron Kress by his wife, Maria.
The fountain takes the shape of a yucca plant, with a main stem or stalk which divides into two arms. One of these arms also divides, leaving three terminal endings to the branches. At the tip of each arm is a yucca blossom. Water is pumped up through the arms and falls out of the flower petals.
