The Survey Disk is bolted into a concrete post which stands approximately a foot and a half out of the ground. It is also within several metres of a geocache container hidden near by. On the side of the concrete post is some Hunter Orange Spray Paint. The nearby portion of the Trans Canada Trail is a well used scenic walking path which also allows the use of off road recreational vehicles, though not road licensed motor vehicles.
