I had the pleasure of visiting Millrose with a fairly large group of friends, including a visiting cacher from Germany.
I did not eat in the restaurant, but the menu and decor seemed quite good. The bar area was cozy, with a nice upstairs area. For beer, I sampled several: The wheat was quite good, better than many I have had in the area. The raspberry wheat was also quite good. It had a nice fruit flavor, but was not over powering. The pale ale was also good.
The appetizer selection was particularly good. There was a large variety. We sampled several and then got a sample platter that included tasty ribs and even had oysters. I tend to be wary of oysters in the midwest, but they were fine.
Overall, the Millrose is highly recommended!
