The War Memorial in Franklin's town park is a very good one. It has the history of Citizens who have served since the Revolutionary War through the Gulf War. Sad to say there is enough room to add more names as needed. The area is well kept, and seems to be taken care of. The website listed is just for general information about Franklin. ( visit link)

The Memorial is located in the northeast section of the town park.
The park is used on a routine basis. This would indicate a lot of people see the Memorial every yrear.
When I plan a waymark day, I usually include several small towns in my travels. Small towns seen to have a lot more pride in their Veterans.
