“Some behind-the-scenes changes at Palmerdale
Homesteads Community Center will be yielding
some changes in years to come.”

“It is a very unique, historic building built during
the depression as part of the WPA, and we are not
looking to add on or modify the structure, but just
to make repairs and upgrades,” said Mayor Hoyt Sanders."

“The space is used for recreational and educational
activities such as Girl Scouts meetings, practices
for basketball teams for the Pinson Valley Youth
Association, dinner theaters and arts and crafts shows.”
