Chateau Ville Vieux, La Rua:
On a new residence in La Rua Remi Potey painted a pair of beautiful sundials on pillars in 1996. The private home is just north and east of the church in La Rua. The left sundial with hour lines shows a wolf in the mountains in winter. The motto is: “Accept les saisons de ton coeur”. The right sundial shows date or declination lines for the zodiac. The painting is an eagle in the mountains in summer. Here the motto is: “Tout en haut la liberty”. Both are appropriate for this mountain cabin in the woods.
Remi Potey has been busy in this mountain hamlet. Have a look at the chapel to see his major painting in 2007 of Saint Sebastien and Saint Andre suffering martyrdom
