[ESP]La entrada al Puerto de Huelva está protegida por un dique de contención de arenas (dique Juan Carlos I).
Este faro junto con el Faro del Picacho (Mazagón) señalan la entrada al Puerto.
Su alcance es de 12 millas; su altura media sobre el nivel del mar es de 31 metros (26 m. desde su base en tierra) y sus luces son GpD(3+1)B 20s. Es decir, grupo de destellos 3 + 1 de color blanco cada 20 segundos.
[EN]The entrance to the Port of Huelva is protected by a sand dike (dam Juan Carlos I).
This together with the Pharos lighthouse of Picacho (Mazagón) mark the entrance to the Port.
Its range is 12 miles, its average height above sea level is 31 meters (26 meters from its base on earth) and its lights are GpD (3 +1) B 20s. That is, group of 3 + 1 flashing white every 20 seconds.
