On the southwest wall of Les Gabelous gîte d'étape is 1858 Zarbula on the restored by Remi Potey in 1995. This dial features an Imperial eagle rather that the Republican coq. Louis Napoleon took over in 1858 and Zarbula was in tune to the politics of the time. Other features include the flowers and Beausoleil. The Latin motto is “Sol me vos umbra regit.” (The sun rules me, you are determined by the shadow.) SAF 0515702.
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
