This is an amazing sculpture that can been seen for miles by anyone driving near the Capitol area of Oklahoma City. Everyone in Oklahoma is very proud of The Guardian and will quickly point it out to you if you are new in town.

The sculpture is made from 4,000 pounds of bronze, cast in 50 sections. The figure is 17 ft. tall, but the staff he holds reaches 22 feet in the sky. The artist is the son of a full blood Seminole and Creek Indians. His grandfather was Chief of the Seminole tribe in the 1940's.

A 9 ft. replica of The Guardian can be found inside the Capitol Rotunda.
