There was a lot to see in this museum and well worth stopping here.

"The Wilson's Creek Civil War Museum (formerly the General Sweeny Museum) contains an outstanding collection of artifacts relating to the war west of the Mississippi, including the sword belt and sash of Arkansas Confederate General Patrick Cleburne, the telescope of abolitionist John Brown, and the flag of the Confederate "Cherokee Braves." source (visit link)
Opening hours: Museum hours are 9 a.m.-Noon and 1-4 p.m., seven days a week. Note: The museum will be closed in December, January, February and March.
