Opened in October of 1997, The Spencer Theater is a venue for world-class performances in theater, music and dance. The $22-million structure is also a world class building. Seating 514, it features outstanding acoustics coupled with intimate seating.
The building was designed by Antoine Predock of Albuquerque, reminds one of pyramids, mountain peaks, or even starships. Faced in limestone, it features a waterfall and a crystal lobby jutting out like a cut diamond.
