This benchmark is located on Ore. Hwy. 230 about 2.5 miles southwest of the junction with Ore. Hwy. 138. The benchmark is located about 75 feet northwest of Ore. Hwy. 230 centerline and is a cap set in square concrete post rising about 5 inches above ground level and marked by a metal post. The cap was set by the Bureau of Public Roads and was marked A-20.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1969. REACHED FROM THE DIAMOND LAKE POST OFFICE GO SOUTHEAST FOR 0.2 MILE TO STATE HIGHWAY 138, TURN RIGHT AND GO SOUTHEAST ON STATE HIGHWAY 138 FOR 1.2 MILES TO THE DIAMOND LAKE INFORMATION CENTER ON THE LEFT, CONTINUE SOUTHEAST ON THE HIGHWAY FOR 2.2 MILES TO THE JUNCTION WITH STATE HIGHWAY 230, TURN RIGHT AND GO SOUTHWEST, TOWARD MEDFORD, ON STATE HIGHWAY 230 FOR 2.5 MILES TO THE BENCH MARK ON THE RIGHT, 0.3 MILE NORTHEAST OF MILE POST 23, AT STATION 1122, (PLUS OR MINUS), 125 FEET NORTH OF A CULVERT UNDER THE HIGHWAY, 77 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY, 0.5 FOOT WEST OF A METAL WITNESS POST, AND 3 FEET HIGHER THAN THE HIGHWAY SET IN A 12-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT PROJECTS 5 INCHES.
