The monument has a Confederate soldier standing at parade rest and looking straight forward. The figure is standing on a tall shaft. The shaft has reliefs of crossed rifles on one side and crossed sabres on the opposite. The shaft rests on a base with Confederate flag on the front and the names of war dead on the other three sides.
