[I have serious issues with the names listed on this marker. I have read the journals (most of them) and I find a more accurate, and complete, listing in this link I have provided. Lewis and Clark It is from a marker put together by the Missouri Conservation Commission with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
To further understand you can go to your local library and request photo copies of the journals and see for yourself. The confusion and conflict caused by different agencies vying for their spot in history, & the translation of the journals, which has provided much fodder for all.]
