[FR] Prospère au 12ème siècle et reconstruite à partir de 1200 elle subit les dommages entraînés par la guerre de Cent Ans et l’occupation de la ville par les protestants en 1567-1568.
Vendue à la Révolution à un négociant en vin elle est occupée à des fins diverses jusqu’à l’installation en 1933 du musée municipal. Trois salles abritent ses collections consacrées à l’histoire locale, aux peintures des écoles flamande française et italienne, à l’archéologie dans la vallée de l’Aisne.
[EN] Prosperous through the 12th century and reconstructed beginning in 1200 it was damaged during the 100 years war and occupation of the city by protestants in 1567-1568.
Sold to a wine merchant after the Revolution, it was used for various purposes until the creation of the municipal musueum in 1933.
