The Methodist Protestant Headquarters Sanctuary was originally built as a school gymnasium in Monticello, MS. In the 1950's the gymnasium was disassembled and removed to this location to make way for a new gym. The structure was reassembled at this site and is used for camp meetings and revivals by the General Conference of the Mississippi Methodist Protestant Church.
