Column I is a stainless steel sculpture located in a grassy meadow south of Meyer Library on the
Stanford University campus. it is a very tall square shaped column. It appears to consist of two separate columns stacked on top top of each other with a cube sandwiched into the stack. Each separate column tapers slightly smaller around its center, then flares back out at the opposite end. The top of the column appears to flare out to a square that is bigger than the base.
