The Hulsey Hatchery is the second largest of the four warm water fish hatcheries owned and operated by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
Approximately 2.5 million Largemouth, striped and spotted bass, catfish and bluegill are raised at this facility each year. Then the fingerlings are delivered to the 600,000 acres of lakes and 20,000 miles of rivers in the state of Arkansas.
Visitors can also watch the birds and wildlife from viewing decks and walking paths from daylight to dusk each day.
The office is open from 8am to 4pm, Monday thru Friday, and is located at 350 Fish Hatchery Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
