Old four store building in the downtown business district of this once prosperous transportation crossroads. The National Road and the Whitewater Canal intersected nearby. A number of railroads also ran through town. The city was also served by an interurban line.
The ground floor of the building is now occupied by a small grocery store. From all indications the lodge is no longer active.
