This memorial commemorates veterans from Howard County. There is a memorial brick walkway and several park benches with sponsors. There is a statue of a soldier from Vietnam in the middle. The Pledge of Allegiance is written in one part of the walkway.
The design is clearly based on the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D. C.
